Twilight

So, obviously everybody should know what the book Twilight is by now. Recently there was a movie created for it. I feel as though the author of Twilight, Stephenie Meyer, is pure genius. The book is page turning, almost like an addiction for those who like to read, and maybe even for those who don't. The movie Twilight is great, really, but I would suggest actually reading the book. The book has many more details about everything, and shows Bella and Edward's relationship in a whole new light. The movie misses some of the great conversations between them, which are funny, serious, and intense. So I personally would suggest reading the book, even if you aren't a big reader, you will still enjoy it.

The book Twilight is about a girl who moves to a small town called Forks, to come live with her father while her mother travels with her stepdad. Bella, the girl, is starting to get used to her life and Forks, and beginning to actually enjoy it. But only for one reason, Edward, this mysterious boy that she has very strong feelings for. But he seems to be different than everyone else, his whole family for that matter, they are all beautiful, like perfect dolls. Edward's emotions change often and the colors of his eyes change. She begins to wonder if he has a secret. Bella puts a few things together and does some research, only to find out that the guy she longs for, Edward, is a vampire. This book takes you on a rollercoaster of Bella and Edwards relationship with a different twist in every chapter.

Bethany, I read the book last summer. I enjoyed the quick read. But since I have read better books it wasn't that amazing to me. But, I do give credit to Stephanie Meyer for producing a book that got people reading who don't usually and I'm glad she made it. -Becca
