Jupiter

Jupiter was a very important god in ancient Roman Mythology. To some people he is the most important because Jupiter was the king of gods and also the god of the sky and thunder. Jupiter is basically the Zeus of Roman Mythology. Jupiter was worshipped to all the time by the ancient Romans. Jupiter also held thunderbolts which he could hurl from the sky. This is also kind of like the Greek God Zeus. Jupiter is still a word we use today because we named a planet after him.
