Gaia - the Greek goddess of Earth is the daughter of Chaos. She is believed to be the mother and the wife of Uranus - the sky and Pontus - the sea. According to the Greek mythology she is a primeval goddess who was the Mother of other Gods. She was nourisher of all things and she played a significant role in the Greek myths. The Greek goddess of earth was known to control the population of the world.
