It really is both becasuse God made the earth but it really could have been evolution that made us because in the old testament book of Genesis it isn't really clear and was written by the Hebrews that used stories to write the Old testament and therefor it is a representation. But still God made the heavens and earth

He isn't actually an actual person he is three in one with each and everyone of us and that was the purpose of Jesus to give God a human form and to come to earth to teach us Gods will.
