Annotated Writing by Students

According to Wikipedia, an annotation is an addition made to information in a book, document, online record, video, or other information. You can think of annotations like writing in the margins of a book or writing comments on Post-It notes to help you remember something.

Today, you may choose one or both of the following tasks.

1.) Annotate a poem by an established poet. This means that you will create a new page, then copy and paste the document within this page. Make sure to give the author credit and state where you found the poem. Then, read through the poem and find 5 phrases, words, or allusions that you can link to other websites in order to help the reader understand the poem more thoroughly.
